Building Update 07.21.26

First, we just want to praise God!
It is exciting to see our building continuing to move forward! Every week brings more progress, and we are grateful for God's faithfulness and for your prayers and generosity.
Don't worry, we are not changing the name of our church. Throughout this building journey, we will use the theme Cornerstone to remind us that our church is built on Jesus Christ, our Cornerstone.

Bible Foundation Ceremony
(Watch the Video Below)
A couple of weeks ago, many of our staff, Elders, and Leadership Team gathered at our property for a special Bible Foundation Ceremony. We spent time praying, worshiping, and dedicating this building to the Lord.
During the ceremony, we placed a Bible into one of the foundation piers beneath what will one day be our auditorium stage, where God's Word will be faithfully preached week after week. It serves as a reminder of something we never want to forget:
Jesus Christ is our Cornerstone, and God's Word is the foundation of everything we do. The Bible doesn't make the building holy. Rather, it symbolizes that this church is built on Jesus Christ and that we know Him through His unchanging Word.
We'd love for you to take a few minutes and watch the attached video!

Building Timeline
You might be wondering what is the timeline of the building. Here is a rough sketch of the timeline below:
July–August 26’
Construction crews are completing the foundation footings and concrete forms as the foundation continues to take shape.
September 26’
The site will be prepared for the concrete slab to be poured.
October 26’
The concrete slab will be poured, and around the second half of October, the structural steel should begin going up. This will be a huge milestone because we'll finally begin to see the building rise out of the ground.
November 26’ – April 27’
During these months, work will include structural framing, roofing, rough plumbing, rough electrical, fire sprinklers, and much of the exterior construction.
April – May 27’
Framing and rough-ins will be completed as insulation and drywall begin throughout the building.
June – November 27’
This season is all about the finishes—painting, flooring, millwork, finish electrical, finish plumbing, HVAC, sound systems, elevators, and all the details that will bring the building to life.
Late 2027
Our hope and prayer is to move into the building near the end of 2027. There are always factors that can affect construction timelines, but that's the schedule we're currently working toward. Please continue praying that everything moves forward smoothly.
We know the end of 2027 can still feel like a long way off. But one day we'll walk through those doors together and wonder where the time went. Thank you for your incredible generosity, encouragement, and prayers throughout this journey. Most of all, thank you for remembering that this building is simply a tool. The mission has never been about a building—it has always been about helping more people know and follow Jesus Christ. We can't wait to see how God uses this place for generations to come.
